As the UK’s largest Independent Toyota Equipment Specialist, we are delighted to add the latest Generation 8 to our product portfolio. Our sister company Toyota Forklift in South Africa, who are also part of the Imperial Group, have been supplying the Generation 8 to customers in their market for over a year.

The new truck, like its predecessor the generation 7, focuses on safety, reliability, comfort and durability. Build quality has also been enhanced with the use of metal body panels on critical areas. Much of the truck can also be recycled.

The initial feedback from our customers has been very positive. We have also supplied one of our customers with a Generation 8 fitted with an enhanced speed limiter, which will limit the speed depending on the height of the forks. This coupled with the more robust construction offers greater safety and less damage costs.

The Generation 8 is available in seven models with load capacities ranging from 1.5 to 3.5 tonnes and offers a choice of diesel or LPG engines.
